Go The Distance

When Bill Chambers was nineteen he thought he was invincible. Then he suffered a near-fatal motorcycle accident that forced him to redefine his goals. At twenty-two he began running and over the next twenty-five years ran more than a hundred long-distance races, collecting personal bests and memories that would last a lifetime.

Running helped Bill develop the discipline and strength that have proven invaluable in both his personal and professional life. He learned that you don't reach finish lines if you're not willing to start, and the outcome depends on how you decide to approach a situation.

A financial services salesperson, Bill began to realize that the principales upon which succesful marathon running are based have a direct application to achieving goals in our personal life and career - specifically in the sales environment. Those principales are goal-setting, training, maintaining discipline and focus, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Although not all of us aspire to become marathoners, each of us can benefit from understanding the runner's formula for achieving success. Go the Distance shows us how to make strides towards achieving our "dream goal," how to redefine our finish lines, and how to find strength to take one more step.

For anyone looking to begin a new career to wanting to learn how to achieve their goals faster and easier, this is a simple easy-to-read book that will inspire you to Go the Distance!
